Founded in 1981 and based in Jennings, Louisiana, CHI – Charles Holston, Inc. – was initially focused on vacuum truck services, tank rentals and environmental tank and vessel cleaning. Since then, the company has steadily grown and expanded its services to the oil & gas industry. In 1989, the company acquired a salt-water disposal well in Richard, Louisiana. In 2001, CHI increased its disposal capabilities by adding a second disposal well in Geydan, Louisiana. New service lines and facilities have since been added, including dockside cleaning facilities in Cameron and Port Fourchon, Louisiana. Today’s CHI continues to grow and diversify, offering a comprehensive range of services for the oil & gas industry and beyond. Our services now include a full line of support services for land-based drilling operations, as well as offshore tank/vessel cleaning, dockside cleaning services, corrosion services, construction and labor services, environmental services, equipment rental services and more. CHI has always made safety a top priority, and continually strives to create an incident-free environment for all employees. We believe safety begins with the recruitment of qualified personnel, then continues with an education/training program that meets or exceeds industry standards. We also maintain and reinforce safety through tools such as daily safety meetings, job safety analysis worksheets and a behavioral-based safety program. At CHI, we are dedicated to continually improving our services through quality control and a focused effort to meet the changing needs of our clients and the oil & gas industry as a whole.
